This was where I entered the mangrove swamp. But the journey was very pleasant walking on the wooden platform path. Nothing muddy or wet inside a mangrove swamp, how about that? The route was designed in a zigzag manner to take in more of the swamp land. As there were not many people around, most of the time I was moving along all by myself in the middle of nowhere.
Fortunately the reserve was quite safe and no mugging was expected, at least none that I have heard off.
Along the way I did met some families with their little children and students hiking alone or in pairs. Some of the students were there on study trips to study the flora and fauna in the swamp.
