A screen and a hide

These screens were conveniently placed along the tracks for visitors to look through as they passed by. You would not be able to see much as the birds will fly off when they detected the noise of the shoes hitting the ground.

The hides were more effective, with benches for the observers to lay in wait. After a while when things got quiet down, the birds would return, thinking that they were alone. And very useful when it rains.
